They do not offer the trial version of QBD US Accountant edition. You can use the trial version of QBD CA Accountant  edition to learn how it works. Both are similar editions.

Thanks. Unfortunately the file I have from my clients will not open with the CA version. It will only work with the US version.

What's your goal? Do you only need to open the file or do something with it?

I have a new client who is from the US. Before I take him in, I would like to see his books. Unfortunately, his last book keeping update was in September 2018. That is the reason I needed a trial version first, to see what is going on.

Ask your client. Can they still open the company file on their QB Desktop?

Which QB Desktop year version do they have? QB Desktop 2018 US version or an older version?

You can use the trial version to open it later.
