Is it possible to close aged credits in QB without applying them to vendor invoices?
We have a few aged credits in QB that should have been applied to previous vendor invoices that have now already been paid. We want the credit to still show in QB, however do not want them applied to our current outstanding invoices.
Thanks

Hi there Microdent,
In order to apply a credit to an already paid bill, you would need to remove the original payment in order to have it open once more, then recreate a payment while checking off that you want to use so it can be applied, but this would affect the amount of the payment in the bank or credit card account.

To remove a credit from an invoice, follow these steps;
1. To locate the transaction history, press Ctrl + H
2. Double-click the invoice and choose Apply Credits
3. On the Previously Applied Credits window, clear the selection for credit
4. On the Apply Credits window, hit Done
5. Select Save and Close on the invoice
