Thanks for reaching out to us here. The error received when downloading transactions in QuickBooks Online has affected several of our customers. Our Development Team is working diligently to resolve the issue as soon as possible. I recommend contacting our Customer Care team team at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST. They'll be able to set you up for an email notification when the issue has been resolved.
In the interim, you can manually upload your transactions, so your account remains accurate and up-to-date. Our Customer Care team can also connect with you virtually and navigate through the process with you, so your transactions are uploaded without delay!

any indication as to when this issue will be resolved? not really keen to have to do extra work to manually import bank transactions when this function is included in our subscription fees. will all those affected by this issue receive a refund or compensation for this not working and therefore having to do extra work? thanks

I can understand the impact, on your books, when you're unable to upload your transactions in QuickBooks Online. Although I don't have an ETA for resolution, you can contact our Customer Care team at the number provided above. They will be able to add you to the list of affected users, and set you up to receive an email notification when it's been fixed.

I have found a temporary work-around for any transactions that have this error. For me, clicking the checkbox to the left of the transaction and then clicking "Edit" and then categorizing the transaction as I normally would, followed by pressing "Apply and Accept" allows the transaction to be processed.
