Hello
I'm having issues with the integration of QBO and my BMO credit card. QB is not importing all of the transactions from the bank and I usually end up having to import the transaction manually.
To this point I have gone through the troubleshooting that I found in the community.
There is no consistency in the types, amounts, or dates of the transactions that are missing. Is this a known issue when using BMO CC and QBO?
Hi there RGConstruction,
Thanks for reaching out about your bank connection. QuickBooks online is a great tool able to connect to the sites of various banks to import transactions so you can classify them in your books. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this error with missing transactions.
As per the QuickBooks Online bank feed status page, there isn't a known error at the moment for missing transactions without an error message for BMO accounts.
Thank you for trying the steps you've outlined in your post. One other step to try would be to try entering the bank's sign in info once more. To do so, go to the Transactions section, then the Banking tab. Click on the pencil icon beside the affected account, then Edit sign in info. Enter the credentials to sign into the bank, then save. This measure can help resolve errors in general with the connection, including missing transactions.
Let me know if this works, as well as if you need more assistance or have any other questions.
Hello Alex
Thanks for the suggestion, I've attempted to reset the connection by re-entering the login credentials but this has been unsuccessful as well.
I did notice that I had a warning when I uploaded the previous statements .qbo file that the account will be set to no automation. Is this a permanent setting now for this account or can I just click "update" on the transactions page and it will start to import automatically again?
Thanks
Dan
Hi there Dan,
You can try to update it using the update button, but if the account is disconnected, you may need to use the option to reconnect it by clicking on the pencil beside the account on the Banking tab, then Edit sign-in info. Enter the credentials for the bank, then save.
