Is this possible to do from a MYOB back up file into Quickbooks?
You may have 2 options:
1. Prepare your data in XLS/CSV and utilize an importer tool

Hi rwchark,
I love your interest in QuickBooks Desktop, and I can appreciate wanting to bring as much information over as possible from your existing books. In addition to what's already been shared about third-party options, I'd like to highlight some QuickBooks Desktop resources for you to make sure you have the details you need to take care of this.
At this time, there isn't a direct way provided by Intuit to convert an MYOB file to QuickBooks Desktop. This is part of why Fiat Lux has made their suggestions about converting files to Excel files and using an importer tool to bring the details into the program. There may even be other services that will take care of this for you, but as these are third-party options, I cannot recommend any to you explicitly.
What I can show you is our article that covers importing data into QuickBooks Desktop. That way, you can get a sense of what files you can work with manually to enter the details into your books. Here's our article about that: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop
In addition to that article, I'd also like to link you to our page where you can learn what third-party apps and services connect with QuickBooks Desktop to more easily work with your information. When you search and select an app from this page, you'll see information about it as well as contact details on how to find out more if you have questions. Here's the link: Apps for QuickBooks Desktop
That should get you back on track, but don't hesitate if you have other questions about QuickBooks Desktop. Take care!
You may want to get the services of a 3rd party provider to have this conversion done for you.
Are you still in business?
I'd like to convert my MYOB program to QuickBooks Online.
Can you do that?
Hi there Seacoast1,
It's important that all your information is correctly entered so that your books can be balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to import various information from files to save you time with data entry. I can point you in the right direction to import information.
While there isn't a way to import all information from MYOB, you can import information using CSV and Excel files. The article linked explains which information can be imported, and which order should be used to make sure there aren't any errors. You can click on the specific information such as Bills, invoices, customers or suppliers in order to see the format needed for the file so that it can be imported, as well as other information further below in the article.
