Hi there, Mary.
If you received an email indicating that you need to update your credit card information for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), it is essential to verify the email's legitimacy before proceeding.
You can log in to your Intuit account through the official website https://accounts.intuit.com.
Then, navigate to the Product and Billing section, as mentioned in the email.
Input the new card number, expiration date, and CVV code, even though the number may remain the same on a replacement card.

How do I know if the email is legitamate or not? My card has expired, so I imagine that it is legitamate?
It tells me to go to products and billing, which I have done, but there is no place there to update
