The QuickBooks Self-Employed app is a useful tool for many independent entrepreneurs that have on-the-go work. I'm here to help ensure that you have the information you're looking for about what's going on with this app and how you can log in to continue to take care of your work even though the apps isn't currently operational.

 

Our dedicated QuickBooks Self-Employed team is currently working on resolving a login issue with the QuickBooks Self-Employed app that seems to have resulted from a recent update. Many users are running into this issue, and despite various troubleshooting steps, like uninstalling and reinstalling, changing password, and resetting your mobile device cache, the issue persists. Since we know how important the mobile app is to our users, we're working as quickly as possible to get this figured out.

 

Luckily, it's still possible to work with QuickBooks Self-Employed via a browser, including mobile browsers. If you have work that you need to take care of right away, even outside your office, I recommend using this method instead. That way, you don't have to worry about falling behind on your work.

 

To connect with a member of our QuickBooks Self-Employed team to go over this issue in more detail and report that you're experiencing it too, please reach out using the following steps in a browser.

  1. Go to qbo.ca.
  2. Hover over Sign In and select QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  3. Click the Assistant feature.
  4. Type and enter "talk to human" into the chat box.
  5. Follow the prompts.
