Hi there, Nadim.
There are several ways to delete a transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO), depending on the kind of entry it is. I can share some of them below.
For Sales and Expense transactions, you'll need to locate and open the entry so you can delete them. Here's how:
- In the left navigation, select Sales or Expenses.
- Choose All Sales or Expenses.

- Find the sale transaction you want to delete by customizing the Type, Date, and Customer name. For the expense transaction, you can click the Filter icon and Apply once done.

- Select View/Edit for the sale transaction. For expense entries, click the transaction itself.

- Go to the More option below the transaction form and pick Delete.

- Choose the Delete option again in the pop-up message.

If it's a bank transaction, you will need to Exclude it first before you can delete it. But if it's in the Posted section, you will need to Undo it first.
Then, in the Exclude section, you can tick the boxes of transactions you want to remove and choose Delete.

It is also worth noting that deleted transactions are permanently removed from your books, but a record is kept in your audit log.
Feel free to leave a comment below if you're referring to a different transaction. We’re here to assist you.
