How did transactions in bank account history end up mixing dates from different years.?

Good morning littlefeetfarmsb,

I hope you are having an awesome week so far! Sorry to hear your transactions came through strangely. What I do love about the QuickBooks Online Banking Tab, is if for whatever reasons if our transactions did not come through the way we wanted them to, we can easily exclude in bulk and start from scratch.

To exclude, we have a couple of efficient ways to clean out our For Review section:

1. Check off the box column (very first column) to check off all transactions and bulk exclude all transactions
or
2. Check off one singular transaction, hold your SHIFT key, then select the last transaction you want excluded and everything in between will check itself off for you if you do not want to exclude all transactions.

Here is more information on how to exclude unwanted transaction in your Banking Tab:

Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online

I hope this helps, have an awesome rest of the day!

Kindest Regards,

How did transactions in bank account history end up mixing dates from different years.?

Hi there littlefeetfarmsb,

The bank feeds feature in QuickBooks Online is the fastest way to accurately enter your business's income and expenses into your books. It also saves you time during reconciliation because your transactions will already be checked off. It's an awesome feature and I'm so happy to hear that you're reaping the benefits of it. It sounds like something's a little off this time around though, and I'd love to explore that with you further.

You've indicated that the dates are incorrect and have been mixed up with previous years. Would you mind expanding on that or providing some screenshots to demonstrate what you mean? Are the transactions pulling with incorrect dates from the bank feed, or are the potential matches from QuickBooks appearing with incorrect dates? Some clarification on this will help me to get to the bottom of this with you.

@Lourdes-Fernandez's response above is a great one, and provides you with a solid option to start fresh should the issue not resolve itself. There are some other troubleshooting steps that you can try before resorting to this option, because it may be that the images and files stored in your browser's cache are causing problems with the bank feed. Give the steps below a try, then take a look at your bank feed again and see if the transaction dates have corrected themselves.

It's important that this issue is properly reported with detail to my team or our support team outside of the Community in case this is an issue that requires some research by our engineers. Once you've shared some additional detail with me, I'll be able to guide you on the next steps, which may be to reach out for further support. I'll be on standby awaiting your response to proceed. Have a great day!
