When I'm doing estimate or invoice, I prefer to use description to find that item in item list. How can I do this? I know how to use name to get the items.

Hi EmilyCa,
Being able to put together an invoice or an estimate quickly is important to save time and saving time is the name of the game. I'd be happy to help go over finding items with you.
When in an invoice or estimate the only way to find an item would be using the items name on the template. If you go to Lists>Item List then you can search using different choices such as description. At the top of the list you will see a search box and a drop down menu beside it. You'll need to select description from the drop down menu and type part or all of the description in the search box. Once you hit enter any items with that description will show up on the list with all the information being shown.
Once the item is found you can enter the item name into the invoice or estimate to add it.
Hope this helped getting you back to saving time!

Good day. we are now in 2022. and i do hope you now have an update for us that we may be able to search for a stock item without having to go to items and search there. It would greatly save us time if we can be able to search from here
Thank you
