Is anyone familiar with integration of QBO Canada and RepairShopr, particularly inventory management? Why does qty not get updated in QBO when a PO comes over?

Hi KellyMitton,

Thanks for reaching out in the QuickBooks Community with your question. QuickBooks Online works great with many third-party applications. When it comes down to how they integrate the creators of the app are your best resource. I suggest that you reach out to RepairShopr, there may be a setting that needs to be adjusted.

If you have any other questions about QuickBooks Online please reach out. I'm here to help. Take care.

thanks very much Tammy and yes, I will get in touch with RepairShopr.

Another issue I'm having though is just within QuickBooks - I have a purchase order and have received but the quantity has not updated???

Hello again KellyMitton,

Don't worry, I can clarify the situation for you so that you know the best steps to take to get this sorted out and get back to work with QuickBooks Online and RepairShopr.

Since you mention that your RepairShopr integration is for inventory management, it's best to check with the support team for that service to learn why purchase orders brought over from that system aren't impacting your quantities. When working with integrations designed by third-parties, it's important to keep in mind that they've developed how the information transferred from their service should interact and impact the numbers in QuickBooks.

It looks like the integration is directly through RepairShopr rather than a third-party app through the Apps tab in QuickBooks Online. Because of that, you should be able to reach out to the RepairShopr team directly to learn how this integration should be working and why it's not behaving the way you're expecting with purchase orders. The service's website should have contact details for you.

Don't hesitate to give us another shout if you'd like further clarification.
