Quckbooks SE wont connect to my bank account, lost all my transactions

Quickbooks SE kept reporting that it was having trouble connecting to my bank account. I looked it up in the community help and it was suggested to delete the account and reload it. I did that but the bank account will still not connect properly (Royal Bank). Nothing has changed. I lost all my transactions for the last 4 months that were linked to the credit card I used. Probably over 300+ transactions.

 

What do I do!? I tried contacting support through the website app but they weren't able to fix anything.

Have you tried open your QBSE account on private/incognito browser and run the bank feeds? If the same error persists, utilize the trial version of SlickConnect to isolate the issue.

Incognito made no difference. Still the same issue. Its been 48 hours at this point and im still unable to pull/refresh my banking data. I downloaded slick connect and it seems to connect to QB without issue. Not sure what to do. At this point I have no reason to keep using Quickbooks. Its not working at all.

If you can run SlickConnect without any issue, the problem is on QB. It is all up to you now. Many options in the market to replace your QBSE. Contact us in private should you need to explore other options.

I'd be sad to see you go, but you need to make the best decisions for your business. Making sure your transactions are imported correctly is important. QuickBooks Self-Employed is a great tool to be able to manage your business's expenses as well as sales. I can point you in the right direction.

 

If your bank connection is not importing any new transactions, I recommend reaching out to our support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to analyze the connection between your QuickBooks account and your bank's site to see what's blocking the transactions from coming in and notify our engineers if necessary. You can reach out to them by clicking on the Assistant feature, type in talk to human and you'll be connected with a support specialist.
