Hi innovez_Kim,
Welcome to Community! It's great to hear that you're interested in adding users to your QuickBooks Desktop account. However, before purchasing additional licenses, it's important to review your purchase documents, to see what you already have included. I'd be glad to help!
To see how many users are included in your QuickBooks license, open your QuickBooks account and press F2 (or Ctrl+1) to open the Product Information window, which shows your license and the number of seats.
For additional information and pricing, I encourage you to contact us outside of Community. It would be our pleasure to speak with you personally and ensure the best fit for your business needs.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach back out. We'd be happy to assist!
Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
Quickbook pro 2015
QBD 2015 is outdated. You can't buy extra seats for it. If you don't need to run QB in multiuser mode to access your company files, you can use the trial version of QBD 2015 Pro on your second computer for good.
Hi Quickbook team,
There is a option
Help - Manage my license - Buy additional User License - and there is a number to call (1-888-829-8685) but i could not reach them.
Please advise.
Hi,
What is the latest QBD now? how to transfer my data from my current quickbook? Do it need to manualy keyin everything?
Don't be tempted to buy another single user license for QBD 2015. Intuit won't bother to merge your licenses later. If you really need to work in multiuser mode, we recommend purchasing a new license of QB Desktop 2023 Premier for 2 users or QB Desktop 2023 Pro for 3 users within this month. They will release QB Desktop 2024 next month at a higher price. You may need to use the trial version of QB Desktop 2018 or 2019 to upgrade your company file as a first step later. Keep in mind, they only offer the subscription license now.
Hi Fiat,
You mean i cannot but QB 2023 after they have release QB 2024?
So, I need to upgrade my QB file from 2015 to 2018, and then from 2018 to 2023?
Based on our experience, they only offer the latest version. They will provide the older supported version for additional seats only. I'm not sure you can upgrade data files in one jump from 2015 to 2023 or 2024. I recommend you install trial versions of QB Desktop 2019 and 2023 to learn how it works before purchasing a new license.
Thank you for paying so much patient on answering me!
Would you know how much is the QBD 2023 for 2 license? and QBD 2023 that going to release soon?

We don't yet know how much the new QBD 2024 Canadian version will cost. However, QBD 2024 US version (Pro, Premier and Mac) will be 45% higher than QBD 2023. What a beauty
Hi Fiat,
Nowadays the QBD is monthly subscription? not more one time purchase?
They offer monthly subscription for QBD Canadian edition. You can buy the annual subscription trough selected partners only. If you're on a tight budget right now, you should consider using the trial version of QBD 2015 Pro on the second computer as I mentioned earlier and accessing the company files in turn.
My current QBD is kind of one-time purchase. After that we are not paying anymore.
If using the trial version of QBD 2015 Pro, is both QB's data linked?
Both users can only allow to open the same file in turn.
