It gets stuck at "100%" when trying to write system registry values.
Re-attempted installation multiple times and can't see any obvious errors with my registry.

Following this thread, as I have exactly the same problem, except mine gets stuck at 27% of "writing system registry values". I'll report back if I figure out a fix.
Ignore this joewilson0021 and don't call the number. A scammer for sure.
Try to disable your Windows Defender before updating your QB.

Restart your computer, turn off Windows Defender, Run as administrator.
That fixed the problem for me.

This worked for my system.
Restart your computer, turn off Windows Defender, Run as administrator.
