Hi
Anyone facing problem with Quickbooks premium version 2021
with 16G of RAM on windows 10 HOME version 20H2 when
save invoice as pdf.
It will first prompt "Could not print to printer - check your printer selection"
Then it will prompt "Quickbooks can't complete the current action due to a missing
component". Please refer to the attachment file for details of the errors.
We had tried the following without any help
1. Repair the QB installation.
2. Using the latest Tool Hubs to repair the printing issue.
3. Rename the Qbprint.qpb
4.Reinstall the XPS Document writer
5.Check the printer security setting
6.Manual printing to XPS Document writer work fine.
Please help to advise how to fix this issue.
Thank you
How big is your file size?
Hi Vsim.
Being able to save invoices as a PDF is a great way to keep a copy whenever you need to pull it up. I'd be happy to help you with getting your invoices saved as PDF's again.
Great job trying all those steps as it helps to find out exactly what could be going on. Based on everything you have stated it seems like it's either an issue with your QuickBooks not being able to read your PDF drive or an issue with the program you use for your PDF's themselves. For example if you use adobe there may be a damaged file in it that is causing the connection to QuickBooks to not work. I recommend reinstalling your PDF program and QuickBooks itself. You can follow the steps in this article on how to clean install QuickBooks Desktop.
Once both of those have been completed and you're still running into issues with printing as a PDF I suggest contacting our support team so they can look into this further. You can reach them by calling the number in this link.
Have a great one!
Hi
Thank for your reply.
Actually the file size just 15k only,
not big at all.
Hi
Thank for your reply.
Finally managed to solve this weird issue
by running the Tool Hubs with administrator right,
re-apply the fix PDF options and issue solved.
Suspect this issue is due to windows permission right issue
during installation.
Hope other facing the same issue will solve their too.
