I’ve created a custom estimate template for my business. I’m just not sure how to save it under a different name (operational rental quote as opposed to custom estimate template) so I can make different ones for other applications. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you! I do have an additional question.....
ive created my boxes (ones that will contain data that changes from job to job) as a data field under customer message. I now know this is wrong as the test I ran filled all the boxes with the same message. What should I have done differently to be able to input separate data in each box?
No worries. I want to make sure we're on the same page. Could you send me a full screenshot of the boxes you're referring to?
Any of the boxes with testing testing 123 in them require information that changes from job to job.
Based on what you've described, there's a possibility that template isn't recognizing the test 123 option properly. I recommend manually importing a template using the steps in this article here. Once you've imported it, you can customize it through QuickBooks to add the customer message field. It's important to note that you'll have to manually edit the field every time you send it. Feel free to ask questions, I'm here to help. :)
