Where is the receipts tab in quick books Self Employed, It says i cant forward to receipts@40quickbooks anymore. I cant see how I can change this as its a function I use.

It's great to hear that you've been taking advantage of the receipt forwarding feature for QuickBooks Self-Employed, and I want to get to the bottom of why it's not working for your anymore. I know how useful this feature is, and I see you've already done your research to sort this out, so I'm here to help take this a step further.
The first thing to make note of is that you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed, which works differently when it comes to the Receipts feature than QuickBooks Online does. The Receipts tab you mention is available for QuickBooks Online, but for QuickBooks Self-Employed, the receipts are handled differently.
To see what emails are associated with the Receipts feature, you can click the gear icon beside the display name in QuickBooks Self-Employed, and then Receipt forwarding. You'll see there that the email to send the receipts to is receipts@quickbooks.com. I notice in your post that you have some extra characters in there, but that could simply be a typo. It still doesn't hurt to check that you're forwarding to the correct email!
If you're hoping to manually upload receipts to the program instead of forwarding them by email for now, what you can do is navigate to the Transactions tab, then choose Add receipt. This article goes into a bit more detail: Record or attach expense receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed
That should help you keep on top of your work, but I also want to make sure that whatever issue is occurring with the receipt forwarding email is addressed. Hello- I am actually looking for a forwarding option as I frequently use it. It now says the email is not working. With this new change does Self Employed no longer have the option to forward receipts?
I'm with you on this. QuickBooks Self-Employed absolutely still has the option to forward receipts, as you can see from this article here: Forward receipt images to QuickBooks Self-Employed
The steps I gave above for manually adding the receipts are ones you can use as a workaround in the meantime, and then you can contact support to find out why the receipt forwarding isn't working for your account. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like any clarification about the steps I shared with you above. I want to make sure you have a sense of what direction to take here.
