I recently set up a new computer and installed QuickBooks 2022. The installation went smoothly, and I was able to enter my license code without any issues. However, when I launch QuickBooks, it prompts me to register my account. I complete the registration successfully, but as soon as I try to open a company file, it asks me to do it again. This cycle repeats QuickBooks keeps asking me to register, and I can’t proceed with using the software. I’ve already run the QuickBooks Tool Hub, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Why is this happening? Is there a known fix, or do I need to upgrade to QuickBooks 2024 to avoid this problem?
I appreciate you reaching out and sharing your experience here, Phes.
We recognize the importance of setting up QuickBooks Desktop 2022 seamlessly on your new computer. While this version has been a reliable solution, it is now discontinued. This means that official technical support is no longer available, which can lead to compatibility challenges when installing the software on a new system or encountering issues such as registration loops.
If you already have QuickBooks Desktop 2022 installed and working on another computer, you may continue using it there without issue. However, using this version on a new computer doesn't guarantee a smooth experience.
As QuickBooks Desktop is no longer available in your region, we recommend exploring QuickBooks Online. This cloud-based solution offers the flexibility to manage your business operations seamlessly.
I’ll ensure this conversation remains open for any future updates and discussions.
