revert button missing on receive payment window

desktop quickbooks, Premier 2025, the updates are set to automatic, on the admin computer the revert button is missing on receive payment window. When I updated the 2nd computer connected the revert button was gone too!

is this part of the update or is something wrong with my quickbooks?

any suggestions welcome

Thank you for attaching a screenshot of the template to get me on the same page, Kayann. The missing revert button is not part of the update. We can check the scaling of your DPI settings and troubleshoot to resolve the odd behavior of the numbers entered.

 

To start, review the Windows settings to ensure the correct font and sizing. Before doing so, change your display and view preferences in QuickBooks. You can also update it by following the steps below to get the best results for QuickBooks Desktop.

 

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu, then type QuickBooks into the search bar.
  3. Right-click the QuickBooks icon and select Open file location.
  4. In the folder, right-click the QuickBooks.exe file and select Properties.
  5. Go to the Compatibility tab.
  6. Select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings checkbox. You can also select Change high DPI settings and then Override high DPI scaling behaviour.
  7. Click Apply and then OK.

 

If you still see issues, move on to Steps 2 and 3 in this article: Fix screen issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

Additionally, we can verify and rebuild data in your company file to fix the unusual behaviours. Here's how to do that:

 

  1. From the QuickBooks Utilities menu, choose Rebuild Data.
  2. Select OK if you receive a prompt to back up your company file. Note: Your computer may display the message "QuickBooks is not responding". However, as long as you can see your mouse cursor move, Rebuild is still ongoing. Wait for it to complete.
  3. Click OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed and proceed with the next step.

 

Next, run the Verify Utility by following the instructions below:

 

  1. Under the QuickBooks File menu, select Utilities, then choose Verify Data.
  2. Select OK when you see the message "QuickBooks detected no problem with your data". You may continue using your company file.
  3. If Verify finds an issue with your data, you will be prompted to Rebuild Now or View Errors. Select Rebuild Now.

 

However, if you still encounter issues, rebuild twice or thrice as the data is only able to fix some issues only after others have been resolved.

Thank you! We followed the first set of instructions and added change setting all users. Problem Fixed, Thank you! Thank you , Thank you! When windows updated it changed these setting. Kayann
