Sending a Remittance Slip - Attached document

Hi,

 

I want to pay an invoice supplier, send a remittance slip and another attached document to the payment. I tried but they only receive the remittance slip email with the attach remittance slip, but not the extra attach document.

 

I would like in some cases that the vendor receives the remittance slip + another document of my preference. Is that possible?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online has the features you need to complete your tasks effortlessly and get back to what you love.  I'll be happy to provide more information so you're on the right track with your QuickBooks goals!

 

You can add attachments to your customer and supplier profiles or transactions.  Here's how to attach a document to a supplier profile; 

 

1. From the left menu, open Expenses and then Suppliers

2. Choose the supplier and then Edit

3. Scroll to the Supplier details and select Attachments at the bottom 

4. Browse and choose the file you want to attach  and hit Open

Umm not, that does not resolve my problem.

 

So, the thing is I want to pay an invoice supplier, send the remittance slip with another attach document. This document will change every time we made a payment. So, an standard attach document will not work

Thanks for getting back to us.  You can add multiple attachments to your forms in QuickBooks Online.  However, as you've mentioned this feature will not work specifically to your business needs.  I recommend submitting a suggestion to our Development team by going to > Settings ⚙ > Feedback.
