I use Google Chrome so there shouldn't be an issue with the browser.

QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create transactions that you can send to your customers, all while having them entered into your books. I can point you in the best direction for assistance with this typing error.
One possible cause would be the browser that you use to connect to QuickBooks, as well as browsing data can cause errors with typing. It would be best to try on another browser than Chrome to see if that resolves the issue, as well as the other steps provided above. It does the same regardless of the browser that I use. I clear cache, restart, and spend significant time messing around trying to figure this out but have not been able to resolve.
Also, to suggest that we use a different browser rather than Chrome is ridiculous. A huge majority of people use Chrome and your telling us that for some reason, your program doesn't work with it, and therefore we need to use something different. That's ridiculous.
This backwards text thing is brutal.

Thanks for getting back to us here. In further review of your situation, I see this unexpected behavior has been investigated previously by our Development Team. To resolve the issue, it's recommended to go to chrome://settings/?search=Language in your Chrome browser window and ensure there aren't any unique Language Settings set up. Once English is chosen without any other setting deselected, the issue should be resolved and the typing should appear as expected. It was also noted that QuickBooks Online Receipts works as designed when using Firefox or Edge. In addition, for Google Chrome, I suggest restoring your settings to their original defaults under Reset Settings.

I have followed the instructions with regards to language settings.
I only had English selected.
When the typing backwards scenario happens again and I have the time to contact QuickBooks then I most certainly will.
Both me and my colleague have the same issue daily.
