Are you running a manufacturing/workshop company? QBO doesn't offer any assembly feature to separate loose goods/raw materials and finished goods. Consider having an additional app to integrate with QBO.

I'm joining the thread to share some insights about adding inventories in QuickBooks Online.
Fiat Lux - ASIA is right. In QuickBooks, raw materials and finished goods are tracked separately. QuickBooks Online currently doesn't have the assembly feature unlike QuickBooks Desktop.
In this case, you might want to consider Fiat Lux - ASIA's workaround to use a third-party app. You can also visit our apps website to find the best tool for you.
