Hello Adam,
I know how important it is to be able to easily accept payments from your customers. QuickBooks Self-Employed is an awesome all-in-one solution for your business bookkeeping, and it's vital that you're able to make the most of what it has to offer. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for help.
Without the ability to look at your private account information here in the Community, I'm limited in the information I'm able to provide regarding why your Payments application may have been denied. In this case, you'll have to reach out to our designated Self-Employed team directly to find out what's happening.
You can reach out to them via email, or in-product using the QB Assistant.
I'm confident an agent will have this sorted out for you in no time.
Cheers.
Will not Accept my Credit Card

Hello and thanks for joining us,
When answering questions here in the QuickBooks Community, it's important to me that everyone has a response to their question or concern, and I'm here to do what I can to help you out, Order Information. With more details of what's going on, I'm confident I can help you get on track.
Like Fiat Lux, I wonder if you mean you're trying to subscribe to QuickBooks Self-Employed and the subscription isn't accepting your credit card. If that's the case, checking to make sure the card is active, has funds available, and doesn't have any blocks is a good place to start. It's also best that it's a Canadian card and not prepaid since our system will want to charge it each billing period. If you're not sure if your card is active, has funds, or has a block on it, I recommend reaching out to your credit card provider.
If you mean to say that you're trying to pay an invoice you received from a QuickBooks Self-Employed user via credit card and it's not working, it's important to consider the following.
As you can see, whether you're the QuickBooks customer or the customer of a QuickBooks user, a lot of credit card payments depends on currency and the status of the card. It doesn't hurt to reach out to your financial institution if you have questions.
If you're the QuickBooks user and have further questions about your subscription, please don't hesitate to give us a shout. The steps to reach QuickBooks Self-Employed are as follows.
I wish you the best with this!
