Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. It's great to have you join us, and I love that you've chosen QuickBooks Online for your business bookkeeping. Having consolidated reports are a great tool for keeping an eye on different areas of a parent and subsidiary companies, and I can appreciate searching for such a thing in QuickBooks Online. As a rule of thumb, QuickBooks Online subscriptions are intended for only one set of business data, but I know that some parent and subsidiary companies might be have all their data together. Whatever your case, I'll go over the options in the program.
In QuickBooks Online, it's possible to create a few different kinds of Balance Sheet reports, such as the Balance Sheet, the Balance Sheet Summary, the Balance Sheet Detail, and the Balance Sheet Comparison report. The latter of these reports allows you to compare your data against another period's data. You'll notice that I didn't mention anything about a consolidated balance sheet, which is because that's not currently a report option in the software.
There are a few ways you could approach this situation. For instance, you can try customizing one of the balance sheet reports to see if it'll show you the data you're looking for. This article goes over customization options: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online. If that doesn't do the trick or you have multiple QuickBooks Online accounts that you're trying to consolidate information for, another option is to export the report out of QuickBooks to Excel so that you can manipulate the data as you need to. Finally, you can consider third-party apps such as Fiat Lux has mentioned. Apps are a great way to add value to your QuickBooks account and fill in the gaps for what the program can't do on it's own. The Apps tab includes a number of partner apps that you can search through to see if there's one that works for your needs.
