How do I run a year to date report with a per item charge breakdown? Nobody seems to know...

Thanks for posting in the Community. I'll be happy to share info about running a year to date report with a per item charge breakdown.

Based on your description, it sounds like you're also using inventory in QuickBooks. If so, you'll need to run an Inventory Valuation Summary Report and filter it for year-to-date. To access this report, click Reports on the left menu pane and enter the report name in the search field. After hitting search, click on the report and you should see something like this:

I have no reports that go beyond "Inv.." on the reports search.

I just need a simple "Income by Services Report", not sure why this is so hard to do for $37/ month >.<

Gotcha. I have another suggestion of a report that may work for you if you don't have access to the Inventory report. Try searching for the Sales by Product/Service Detail Report. This report shows your sales, grouped by product or service. It includes the date, transaction type, quantity, rate, amount, and total.
