I have QB Essentials. How do I change a PST report to include the commission and thus change the amount owing? I paid the correct amount to the government.

The PST report is for a previous period, so I cannot change the report.

It's important to note that QuickBooks doesn't have a commission calculation feature. The good thing is you can track your sales by employee, sales rep, etc. by using one of two tracking features: Class Tracking and Location Tracking. I encourage you to learn more about this using this link here. I can see the benefit of having the function you've described and I encourage you to send feedback about this to our product developers for consideration. To do this, click on the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. New product features and enhancements are largely based on the valuable feedback we get from users like you.

Thanks for your response. The QB PST report allows for the commissions to be added (Line C). The issue is that I forgot to do that, and I marked the report as "filed" in QB. So QB thinks my payable amount was higher than what I actually owed. I paid the lower amount, based on the BC government PST report form, but I didn't notice that I forgot to record the commission in the QB report. Then I marked the report as paid. So QB thinks I paid more than I actually did. I want to change the amount owing for PST for that period, and I want to change the amount QB has recorded as having paid.
