Why when I run the report listing time activity by customer, do all customers with approved time not show up in the report?

My base currency is CAD and the customer is billed in USD, although this shouldn't matter.  I am able to see all customers billed in CAD.

Welcome to the Community. It's essential to access your Time Activities by Customer Detail Report to ensure that your books is up to date. Quickbooks Online is great program that gives you the ability to easily track your invoices and expenses. I'd be glad to provide you with information on the Time Activities by Customer Detail Report.

 

At this time, the time activities by customer detail report only tracks customers who use local currency when time is billable.

 

If you'd like to add the option to track customers who use different currencies when time is billable, I recommend that you send us Feedback by clicking on the Gear icon at the top. This is sent to our Development Team to consider for future updates.

Thanks for your response.  My experience using QBOL for a USD customer has been very poor.  While the product description indicates that multiple currencies can be supported, the fact appears to be that it will allow the creation of manual invoices and tracking bank balances and not much else.  The slick, well-integrated product is neither slick nor well-integrated when it comes to using a currency other than the base currency.  

 

While your suggestion that I submit an upgrade request is welcome, I have been down that path with other USD-related issues and have found that the submission goes into a black hole, never to be heard from again.  

 

Because the lack of functionality tracking time for a USD customer, I am forced to implement a manual time-tracking workflow and have therefore cancelled my QB time subscription.
