When I first created an invoice, a window popped up on the right hand side, in which I input all of my information about my business (logo, name, banking). I have not been able to find this window again to update the info; does anyone know how to access this page?
Thank you!
Hi there,
Customizing your invoices is one of the best ways to make the most out of QuickBooks Online in order to reflect your brand image. I want to make sure you can demonstrate your own style, and input all the necessary information you'll need to display.
It sounds like you may be looking for the Custom Form Styles page. You can find this by clicking the Gear icon > Custom Form Styles. Once on that page, you'll click New Style > Invoice. Here's where you'll enter any necessary information, including template design, logos, colour, and font.
If you're looking to customize a unique message for your customers, click the Emails header and enter your message accordingly.
If you're trying to edit other company information like the business name or banking information, take a look at the Company Settings page. This can be found by clicking the Gear icon > Account and Settings. This page lets you upload a logo, change the contact information, set up your default accounting method, change your business number, and set your language preferences.
I hope this covers all the bases and gets you back on the right track. If there's anything else I can do to help, just let me know.
Cheers!
Hello again loadpoi,
It looks like you're getting use out of many features in QuickBooks Self-Employed, which is fantastic. Just the same as the previous thread, I'm here to help and in this case, I can show you the steps for changing your invoice details in the program.
Like with the last thread, this is another instance where the steps given in the original response are for QuickBooks Online rather than QuickBooks Self-Employed, which is why you don't have the Custom form styles option through the Gear icon. I want to assure you that I'm stressing to my team the importance of accurately answering these questions for the product the user is asking about.
In QuickBooks Self-Employed, editing the details for your business that appear on the invoice is pretty simple. Here's how.
When you use the Create invoice option, the program will use that information moving forward with new invoices. To change it on existing invoices, please go into each individually to do so.
Give that a shot and let me know if you're able to make those changes!
Thank you!!! It worked!!!
You're welcome! I'm glad to hear that those steps worked out and appreciate you taking the time to update me on this. Happy invoicing. :)
Hi there,
I have just signed up for QB and I entered in my invoice details for fun and to try it out. Now I can't find a way to change the logo and fake info I added in. How do I go and modify the invoice header and company details once they have been created? I am on QB Self Employed and do not have the same selection in my gear as you described above.
