I have a client with multiple projects, where can I show the project name in the invoice?

Hey proadvisorsservi,

I'm glad to see you're using the projects feature to seamlessly manage your various income under a client. QuickBooks Online is designed to help you run your business, and this is a great way to keep track of your profits. This is primarily focused on being a way to categorize and organize your transactions internally, so most visible information will pull from the customer's profile. The simplest way to show the individual project name is to edit the Billing and /or Shipping address as needed, or to add a custom field by clicking on the gear icon in the top right.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

The easiest available solution to this issue is to create "Sub-Customer" (and populate it with the project name), then assign the project to the created "sub-Customer". The only limitation is that if you already have a project setup, you can't reassign it to another customer (or sub-customer).

Regards

Louay
