I have been using Quickbooks Pro 2017 and switched over to Quickbooks Online and can't get my Invoices to printout (or saved as a pdf) properly.
I add an itemized list under the Description field on the invoice for every Product/Service I enter on the invoice. Sometimes there could be more than 100 items in the Description field. On the desktop version, everything worked fine and the itemized list would printout properly even if it had to go over multiple pages for each Product/Service. On the Online version, this list is truncated to 1 page and the rest of the items are lost. If I email the invoice, the preview appears properly, but the attached PDF is truncated and incorrect. Is there anyway to get this to printout (or save as a PDF) properly.
Thanks
Hi GregWoity,
Thanks for sticking with us! I know how important it is to have every necessary information on your invoice layout. QuickBooks Online gives you the flexibility to adjust the description field width, so you can easily include all your info without it being truncated or lost. I'll be happy to guide you through this.
To increase your Description field width, please follow these steps.

I hope this helps! Feel free if you have any other questions.
Yes, I can do that. However, if my itemized list in the description field is lengthy (for example 100 lines), when a pdf or printout is created, the list will truncate after a single page. If i email the invoice, the preview looks ok, but the attached pdf is truncated.
Thanks for following up, GregWoity. I want to make sure you're able to view every detail when you generate a print or preview. I was able to replicate this in my test account with 100 lines in the description field for multiple Products/services, and both the preview and printout came out fine on all of the pages. I'd recommend reaching out to support so we can have a closer look at your account and help you quickly get back on track. Same thing happening to me. Preview appears to be fine but only after it’s all sent out it’s truncated when made on a mobile device. Really makes things look unprofessional.
