invoicing

hi there we currently have to  prepare our invoices in excel then manually enter in QB by choosing the time for each job,  as we do not need each time entry on the invoice is there a way to show it as one line?

Hi DEaccounting,

Welcome to QuickBooks Community. QuickBooks Desktop can help you save a tremendous amount of time when entering transactions by importing data. You can import things like your bank transactions, accountant’s changes, general journal entries, and batch transactions. You can also import your customers and suppliers.

To import data from Excel to QuickBooks Desktop, you can refer this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/getting-started/import-or-export-ms-excel-files/00...

I hope this helps. If you have more questions related to QuickBooks, feel free to reach out here.

Check out an independent import tool, SAASANT Transactions.  You can download a trial version and use it to see if you like it.  It has saved us so much time and the cost to purchase is very reasonable.  The Excel import feature is easy to use and the import process allows flexibility and efficiency.  www.saant.com
