Welcome to Community! Recurring templates are a valuable feature in QuickBooks Online. Getting an error message when creating a recurring invoice, can be bothersome. I would be glad to help!
It's important to note that Recurring templates are only available in QuickBooks Online Essentials and QuickBooks Online Plus. You may need to upgrade your subscription, so you can enjoy this feature.
If you're already subscribed to the suggested QuickBooks product, and receiving the error, I recommend clearing cache on your browser, or try another browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
