Hi there,
Thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community. I'll be glad to share more details about managing more than one currency in QuickBooks. QuickBooks is a powerful program that offers a flexible Multi-currency feature.
With our Multi-currency feature, you can easily manage transactions that are created using a different currency compared to your home currency. To learn more about multi-currency, check out this helpful article: Set up and use multicurrency in QuickBooks Online. From here, you'll be able to manage the US and the Canadian funds in your QuickBooks account.
You're more than welcome to ask other questions as you browse through the article. I'll be one message away in case you need anything else. Otherwise, I wish you a great rest of the day.
I also have both CAD and USD expenses and invoices. I have found it helpful to add (CAD) or (USD) after the name of the supplier or customer.
For example:
Home Depot (CAD)
Home Depot (USD)
When I have to choose a supplier to enter an expense I know at a glance which currency that supplier is assigned.
