This is currently available with Quickbooks online in India and its a heavily requested feature which should be added to Quickbooks online in Canada. We are not looking to add a separate discount line item with a negative number to reflect the discount. Instead there should be a discount column so we can have different discounts for different products and services. The following link shows this is currently available in QB Online India.

If this is already done, how on earth do we not have this feature available in Europe?
Discounts is a MAJOR issue, especially when dealing with dealers etc rather than retail customers....
On desktop i could set automatic payment levels per supplier AND have individual discounts on a item by item basis on invoices...
Now i seem to be constrained to ONLY a single overall discount? Which is not at all good. I expected Quickbooks to have many additional features not for me to lose features?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there are different features available for each region. As a result, what's available in QBO India may not work in the UK version.
Please know that we are considering all suggestions based on the number of requests and their impacts on the user interface before they're rolled out.
I know how beneficial it is for you and your company to add discounts per line item. However, QBO UK is designed for what features they have at this time.

I dont really understand why this is the case though?
When I "upgraded" from desktop Pro 2016 I expected to have all the features I was used to plus a whole bunch of new "connected functionality". I was certainly not expecting to go backwards on features with a 4 years newer product.....
I have only just upgraded this week so I'm still exploring Quickbooks Online but things like this make me very worried....
