I’m happy you turned to the Community about changing the language for your outgoing emails. Let me point you in the right direction on how to accomplish this.
If you sign up for the English version, the program will use that as the default language. You can still change it to French, but QBO will now use English for all transactions.
To update the settings:
- Click on the Gear icon in the upper right hand.
- Select Account and Settings.
- On the left panel, choose the Advanced tab.
- Go to the Language section, then click on the Pencil icon.
- In the drop-down, select Francais.
- Click on Save and Done.
If you wish to change the language to English again, please follow the same steps above. As a workaround, manually enter the message each time you create an invoice.
Before sending the transaction, go to the Send email section and enter the messages in the Body field. This way, you can still tailor the email information specific for that customer.
There you go. The message your customer receives should now be in French.
