Customer Phone Number not appearing in Estimate Report

When I open the standard report "Estimate by Customer"  It allows to add additional columns.  When I add Phone Number - the column shows up as blank, even though the phone numbers have all been entered for each customer.

 

In addition it seems impossible to have the customer phone number show on invoices and estimates making it more work to go and look for the customer contact info.

 

Am i missing something here? Is this a glitch within QBO?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online provides the flexibility you need to see what matters most on your reports.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

Here's how to add Customer phone numbers to the Estimate by Customer report;

 

1. Open the Estimate by Customer report and enter the desired Report period

2. Click on the small ⚙, in the top right of the report

3. Select Show more

4. Checkmark the box next to Phone number and any other items as you see necessary

You're all set!

 

With regards to your invoices and estimates, the customer center doesn't flow into sales transactions.  However, as a workaround you can add it to their billing address section so it appears on all sales transactions you create for a specific customer.  Here's a helpful guide for your reference.

I did do this initially but the phone column shows blank.

The report is not pulling from the Customer Information.

Thanks for getting back to me here.  That isn't the outcome we'd expect.  If you haven't done so already, please clear cache on your browser.  I also suggest trying another browser such as Firefox, Edge, Safari, Google Chrome, Private or Incognito.  

 

If you continue to experience the same unexpected behavior, please contact us outside of Community.  Our Customer Care team can work with you directly and proceed with an escalation to our Development Team for further investigation.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

Customer Phone Number not appearing in Estimate Report

The reason the phone number is not showing is because if a "project" has been created for the customer the phone number is not pulling from the main page.  Remove the Project and the phone number appears.
