Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I've gone ahead and fixed that now in my original response, but here it is again in case you need it: Write off bad debt in QuickBooks Online. Let me know if that one works for you!
I know all those steps and the final presentation is wrong. Because it shows bad debts invoices as collected and overstated number without right impact on P&L. Do you have any manual entry can fix this issue or any solutions.
In this case, having a sense of what you're looking at and what you mean when you say "overstated" amounts will be helpful in determining what steps you should take here. Are you able to share a screenshot along with an explanation of what you mean? Feel free to redact any sensitive information on images you share.
