Hello,
Having a customer signature on your invoice can come in handy and help you feel confident about an agreed upon price.
In QuickBooks Online, a customer is able to electronically sign their invoices on your phone or tablet when you're using the mobile app. The mobile app is the only place your customer has touch-screen abilities, and this is where you can accept e-signatures. If you're sending the email remotely, this option isn't yet available.
I can appreciate how helpful this would be, and I'll definitely pass your feedback along to the right people. If you're interested in presenting your customers with their invoice in-person, you can download the mobile app from the iTunes or Google Play store, and then accept signatures directly.
I hope this helps to answer your question. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Have a great day.
Hi,
Thanks for your response to my question. As I do not see our customers we need them to sign when the invoice is emailed to them. Any other suggestions?
Hi there,
I'd recommend asking your customer to print the PDF copy of the invoice on their end, sign in, then scan it back onto their computer to email it back. There's all sorts of ways that they're able to do this, whether the customer has access to a physical scanning machine or not. Many mobile devices allow you to scan documents as well. Otherwise, I'd recommend consulting with your customers themselves to figure out what they're most comfortable with in regards to signing the invoice.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.
Cheers!
Docusign Works for this !!!
Is there a way to set up a designated device that people can sign their invoices on that restrics them from looking at your quick books and valuable information. I tried to set up an Ipad for this with customer user setting allowing that user to only see

Hi there. I'll help you from here. I want to make sure we're on the same page so we can get to the bottom of this faster. Are you using the iPad app or you're using the browser to access your account? Feel free to send screenshots of what you're seeing on your end. Don't forget to cover any sensitive information since this Community is public. :)
Do you mean is possible to integrate and automate this or I need to do separate in DocuSign?
I feel like this question was never answered.
I want to attach a contract to an estimate for a customer to sign PRIOR to sending them an invoice for payment. What is the best way to do this electronically?
You may need a 3rd party app to do so.
what mobile app?
I looked into Docusign before posting my question. From my understanding Docusign works if you are sending one document at a time. It does not work if I need to send out over 90 documents at once that need signatures. Any other suggestions?
What kind of document you need to send out in bulk from QB Online to Docusign? Have you explore any automation app?
