If an invoice already exists, you can follow the steps below to apply the credit. If there isn’t an invoice yet, you’ll need to create one first before you apply the credit.
Here’s how to apply the credit memo to an invoice:
- Go to your client's profile.
- Find the invoice you’d like to apply the credit to.
- Click on Receive Payment.
- Select the invoice and the credit memo by checking the boxes next to them.
- Click Save and close to finalize the transaction.
