How to automatically charge credit card surcharge fee to Ontario customers who choose to pay with credit cards?

In Ontario, Canada, merchants are now allowed to charge a surcharge if customers decide to pay with credit card to help offset the expensive credit card rates - FINALLY!

Has QuickBooks implemented a simple way for merchants to create invoices that give customers an option to pay either by credit card or E-transfer, with an automatic surcharge added to the credit card choice?

Afaik, QB Payment does not yet provide this feature. You will need to use a third party merchant service to do this.

I spoke to a QBO rep Aug 2023 and they indicate that this function is at the beta testing stage. No indication when this will be live.
