I was just helped by a rep named Marco. He found that my currency / date settings were wrong. Problem seems to be fixed.
It's me again here. I recently set up a new version Quickbooks 2021 from scratch. I didn't import any information. The invoices look right when I fill them out, but if I preview or print, Quickbooks adds the letters EC in front of the amount owing. Very frustrating!
Hi LRB1993.
Making sure your QuickBooks Desktop is working the way it was intended without issue is one of our primary goals. I'd be happy to help you get your invoices printed properly without the EC showing.
As this is an issue with printing I recommend first downloading our QuickBooks Tool Hub and running the PDF and printing errors tab. Once completed test printing out another invoice to see if the EC shows up again. If it does then try the Program Problems tab and use the Quick Fix my program. If the issue persists I suggest contacting our support team as they can look into the issue further. You can reach them by calling the number in this article.
If you have any questions let us know and we'd be happy to help.
Thanks for your reply. I have actually tried the things you suggested already. I am waiting on tech support to hopefully find the answer. So far they haven't been successful.
