Also I can view the invoice on my computer, but not the phone

It's great to see you're using QuickBooks Self-employed for your small business needs. The Self-employed application is ideal for busy people that are on the move. I can explain the issue you're having.
When you click on the view invoice in your phone app, the program is trying to download the PDF. Most likely you don't have an app on your phone that can handle/read PDF file. You'll just need to install an app that can open PDF files. If you're using an Android device, you can download Google PDF Viewer or Adobe Reader.
If you're still having issues you can try deleting the app and reinstalling it. Often this will update the application and fix any glitches.

So the issue is my clients/ customers cannot open the file on their phones.
I uninstalled my app and loaded and it worked after I had to hit 3 different open file requests. Seems ridiculous.
I now send out a text saying just keep hitting the open file the 3 times and it also contains direction on how to pay me. Defeats the purpose of sending a Quickbooks file!!!
This program is not making my life easier
