Hey there office-karunia-c,
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to have. It helps keep your books balanced. Making sure you're able to find everything you need in your account is important. I can provide some information.
At this time, there isn't an option to go back to the previous layout. However, here is an article that may help you understand the new layout. I can see how being able to go back to the previous layout would be beneficial for you. I encourage you to leave feedback by heading the the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
Agreed, why fix what wasn’t broken.. I absolutely hate the new layout, takes me twice as long to complete the simplest of tasks.
Terrible layout. Everything is too crammed together and there is too many drop downs when doing an estimate. Bring back the old layout
I see QBO is still up to its same ole shenanigans . . .
We use "Get Things Done" as our home page. We have it set so that the girl who creates all our PO's cannot have access to the financials. Now, with the newest "update no one asked for," that was created by folks who don't actually USE QuickBooks and think they know what those of us who have to use it need, all you have to do is click on the first tab and Boom -- access to all the bank feeds! How totally stupid and unneeded!
From what I have read below, there is no way to change it back and the "developers" don't care and just direct you to a page that "explains the new layout." It is self explanatory and it stinks!
Signed,
One fed up QBO user /-:
It is funny that you stated, " These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks."
Our comments must be thrown in the trash, unread, as folks complain about the same things, year after year, and nothing changes.
