I need to invoice one customer in 2-3 currencies for one job.
I could set up 3 customers each with a different currency but then I cannot report on the one job.
Anyone found a work around?
Why do you need to split your invoice into some currencies? Is there any chance you will do the same in the future? I may have a workaround to consider.
Invoices can be separate currencies - issue is that it is one job.
One job with revenue and expenses in multiple currencies.
Hi TGr2,
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! This is where our community comes together to help each other out and share knowledge. I can help point you in the right direction with setting up multi currency in QuickBooks Enterprise.
Multi currency is a great feature that allows you to adjust your customers or vendors home currency. The best part of this is that QuickBooks Enterprise converts the currency into the currency the bank account is set up for. No need to sit around and do all those manual conversions. One of the things about this feature is that you can only set up one currency per customer so having multiple on one invoice is not available at this time. If this is a feature you wish to add I recommend sending feedback to our developers by going to: Help>Send Feedback Online>Product Suggestions. This will let out developers know this is a feature you wish to have added and they can look into adding this feature in future updates.
Another option is looking into a third party app that could work for your needs. You can look at some apps that work with QuickBooks Enterprise by going to out third party apps page. Be sure to make sure that the app will work with the Canadian version of QuickBooks Enterprise.

Thank you for the reply.
For clarity, we do not need multiple currencies on one invoice.
I need to be able to record revenue and expenses in multiple currencies for one job and the job functionality is tied to the customer level.
I could set up multiple customers in the 3 currencies but then we lose the job reporting functionality.
Hi TGr2,
I can see how having the ability to use multiple currencies for one customer would come in handy in today's international marketplace. QuickBooks has changed with the times and processes multicurrency with ease within a single customer or vendor. At this time, each job must be the same currency as the customer it is attached to. I have an option that is a bit of a workaround that could work for you.
You can choose to Transfer customer credit from one job to another so that you can still use your job costing, and detailed steps can be found in the article. My colleague shared how to submit feedback above, and I encourage you to submit your ideas.
If there's anything further that I can help with, please let me know. Take care.
