My default tax codes for my customers has disappeared. I am no longer able to enter a tax code on any invoice. Is there a fix for this?

I know this has been asked, but I cannot see the replies either. My QB Online has gone for a poop.

Hi praymond,

It's great to see that you've used your QuickBooks Online program to set default tax codes for your customers. Often when you see unexpected results in QuickBooks Online, it means your cache is full, and you need to empty your cookies. Let me explain what this means and how to fix it.

Every time you go to a website, cookies are downloaded into your internet browser's cache. Eventually, it needs to be emptied, or it begins disrupting communication in internet-based programs like QuickBooks Online.

Follow these simple steps for troubleshooting your browser:

As you work through these steps, you may be required to sign out or to sign back into your QuickBooks Online account. When you do, check to see if the issue has resolved itself.

If you're still experiencing this issue, reach back out, and further troubleshooting can be done. I'm here to help. Have a great day!

Thanks - that worked. I should have checked this first. I also sent a msg to QB Developers to update the help file and show this as a solution.

Cheers.

It's billing time!
