QuickBooks Online helps to keep you organized by assisting you in keeping track of any outstanding bills or payments. The Unbilled Activity tab will display billable items that have not yet been added to an invoice to be paid by your customer. If you've already invoiced these items for your customer, you can remove them from the Unbilled Activity tab by deleting the original expense.
Here's how to delete the remaining activity charges from your Unbilled Activity tab:
1. Click the Sales tab on the left navigation menu.
2. Click All Sales.
3. Select the Unbilled Activity tab.
4. Click on the unbilled activity you'd like to delete.
5. Locate and click the matching billable expense from the transaction list.
6. At the top left corner of the page, click where it says "Marked as billable on this Expense".
7. Click More at the bottom of the expense, then select Delete.
That's all there is to it. Now that you've deleted the initial expense, it will no longer appear in the Unbilled Activity tab.
