Hello alvina-irix-desi,
Welcome to Community! QuickBooks Online enables you to customize your forms, to reflect your Business. I can understand the concern when they aren't printing as designed. I would be happy to help!
Display issues can be related to excessive cache on your browser. Here's how to clear cache. In addition, the unexpected outcome causing the template to show a different appearance, may be due to a browser issue. Let me share some steps that can resolve common browser issues when working in QuickBooks Online.
Start by using or switching to a private/incognito browser. Use these keyboard shortcuts to open one depending on the browser that you're using:
Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
Once done, go back to the template and click the Print/Preview option. If you experience the same result, let's check to see if you selected the correct template on the invoice. Here's how:
1. Go to Sales, then Invoices
2. Locate and open the invoice
3. From the menu at the bottom, click Customize and see if the template name you customized is the one checked
4. Toggle to any template and back to the correct one. Then, click Print or Preview
If the PDF preview is still incorrect, follow these steps to resolve problems opening, viewing and printing PDF files. Then, go back to opening an invoice, selecting the correct template to see how it works.
Should the issue persists, please don't hesitate to contact us outside of this forum. It would be our pleasure to work with you in real-time and assist you with accomplishing your QuickBooks goals as soon as possible!
feel free to reach back out with other questions. We would be glad to assist!
