Received a credit card payment, where does it go?

Thanks, the question was not about how to reconcile or where to record the payment.  The question was, where does the payment go ie: does the credit card payment to me automatically get deposited into my business account?

I see what you're saying. When setting up Online Payments, you get the opportunity to specify/choose the account you'd like your funds to be deposited after a customer has paid an invoice. If you'd like to get a deeper understanding of this process, please check out the helpful resources below:
