I encourage you to follow these steps to verify the default tax rate selection.
 
- Click on the Gear icon.
- Select Account and settings.
- Select advanced.
- On the Accounting section, click the default tax rate selection drop down to select Inclusive of tax.
- Select Save and then Done.
 
Once you open the invoice, you can verify if the box "Amounts are" is showing inclusive of tax.
 
If the amount calculated is still showing the price before tax instead of including tax, I encourage you to clear your browser cache and cookies. They can prevent the system from functioning effectively. You can refer to the following steps to perform browser troubleshooting.
