Can anyone help with our previous year's federal tax disappearing from the Sales Tax Centre?

In "Sales Tax", the Federal tax current year (Jun1/23 to May31/24) is displaying, but the previous year (Jun1/22 to May31/23) cannot be found. I've tried deleting cache, private browser, different browser, different computer but nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

Hi there billing-omniwire,

It's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your totals to be accurate. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales tax on transactions so you know the amount owed to the government. I can provide some information about taxes in QuickBooks Online.

If the tax period that's missing is the first one you'd be marking as filed in QuickBooks Online, to see it, you'd need to click on the Prepare return button beside the current period shown, then select the correct period from the date menus.

If this missing period isn't the first period you're trying to file in QuickBooks, then I recommend reaching out to the Quickbooks Online support team outside the Community. They'll be able to assist in making sure the taxes appear correctly. You can reach them using these methods:

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and Twitter

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

Hi Alex, thank you so much for your reply! This would be the first filed return and I didn't realize I could change the date of the current return to access the previous year's info. Thanks again!!
